Obama Ends Kamala’s Chances With Black Men

Recent polls have pushed Kamala Harris’s campaign into full desperation mode. They are pulling out all of the stops they can think of. They have increased the rhetoric about Trump being an evil, racist dictator. They realize they are losing a lot of men, so they are doing a number of things to try to regain some ground. They released a very cringy ad of men advocating for women being in positions of power and displaying this “new masculinity” they’re trying to push. They’ve had Magic Johnson giving a pep talk at a campaign rally. They even had former President Barack Obama give a message directly to black men in particular, and that’s where it all went downhill. 

One thing the Democratic Party has historically been known for is labeling people as some bigot anytime they don’t agree with them. If you don’t agree with everything the LGBT community stands for, then you must be homophobic. If you want to discuss real problems in the black community without blaming white people, then you must be a racist. Currently, they are pushing the idea that if you don’t want to support Kamala Harris, it must be because you’re a misogynist. There are no other possibilities for why you would choose not to vote for her. You just hate women. This is what Obama tried to suggest when speaking to a group of young black men, and I’m positive he was not expecting to get the backlash he received. 

At a campaign stop, Obama took a moment to speak directly to black men regarding why more and more of them are leaving the democratic party. He acknowledged that they are losing ground with men in general, but specifically black men, so you would think that he would take that time to address the actual concerns of the black men who have chosen not to support Kamala, right? Wrong. What he decided to do was to scold men for being misogynistic, saying that the main reason they weren’t supporting Kamala was because they were against a woman being in a position of power. He used that time to lecture black men as if he was their father trying to correct their bad behavior. The democratic party is well aware of the influence Obama has over the black community, or at least the influence he had at one point, and they overplayed their hand sending Obama to crack the whip on black men to get them back in line on the democrat plantation. I don’t think they were prepared for the response they received. 

Black men have responded loud and clear about how offended they were by these comments. They likely have lost more support from black men than they had before because black men are tired of being scolded and being told what to think. They are tired of having disrespectful labels thrown at them in order to manipulate how they are supposed to behave as men or manipulate the decisions they make. They have been putting up with it for decades from the democratic party and from black women and they are sick of it. What the democratic party doesn’t realize they are doing is they are telling the world that black men are not capable of thinking for themselves. They aren’t capable of making decisions in their own best interest, and if they don’t have guidance, they will make the wrong decision. That’s what they are telling the rest of the country and the world about black men, but they have convinced the black community that the conservatives are the ones who think less of them? 

Obama has completely lost all credibility to the black men who were skeptical about supporting Kamala Harris. If you ask the mainstream media what the biggest problem of his lecture was, they would say he’s receiving backlash because he was only speaking to black men and not all men as if all men with valid concerns about Kamala wouldn’t also be offended by being called misogynists. It just shows you how completely out of touch these people are. Regular people are no longer taking political advice from “celebrities” who only try to relate to them every four years for election season. Those days are long gone. People can see for themselves who is working in their best interest, and they’re not falling for the emotional manipulation anymore. 

Obama has unintentionally exposed what Democrats really think about black men in their desperation to hold onto the black vote. This could potentially be the beginning of the end of the democratic reign over the black community. The Democrats thought it was still 2008, and Obama still had this high level of influence over black Americans, and they were sadly mistaken. Obama can head back to his mansion in Martha’s Vineyard and let the people who are affected by the policies of Kamala Harris do what’s best for them. Thank you for reminding black men why they left the Democratic plantation in the first place. You can be sure that they won’t be returning now.
